About the Journal

The International Conference on Biological Technology for Sustainable Nature (IC-BioTEStA) serves as a vital international forum for the dissemination of high-quality research, innovative practices, and critical discussions in the realm of biological sciences, all geared towards fostering the sustainability of nature and enhancing human well-being. Held in Malang, East Java, Indonesia, this conference is dedicated to promoting robust interdisciplinary dialogue and forging collaborations that bridge fundamental biological research with cutting-edge applied technologies to address complex environmental and societal challenges.

Focus and Scope: IC-BioTEStA welcomes original research, comprehensive reviews, and insightful case studies across four core thematic areas:

  1. Fundamental Biological Sciences: Covering foundational biological principles and mechanisms, including physiology, cell biology, genetics, microbiology, botany, zoology, and molecular biology, which serve as the bedrock for advanced biological technologies.

  2. Biotechnology: Focusing on the development and application of biotechnological solutions across various sectors to promote sustainable practices. This includes environmental biotechnology, agricultural biotechnology, synthetic biology, bioprocessing, bioinformatics, and genetic engineering.

  3. Biomedical and Pharmaceutical Sciences: Dedicated to biological applications in medicine and healthcare, encompassing drug discovery and development, biomedical engineering, molecular diagnostics, vaccine development, natural product pharmacology, and precision medicine.

  4. Biodiversity and Environmental Sustainability: Addressing critical research in biodiversity conservation, ecosystem services, ecological restoration, climate change mitigation, and the sustainable management of natural resources through innovative biological and ecological approaches.

Open Access Policy: IC-BioTEStA is committed to the principles of open access. All accepted conference papers will be made freely available online immediately upon publication, without any subscription or access fees. This ensures the widest possible dissemination of research and promotes global knowledge exchange, supporting the advancement of science for the benefit of all.
