Abstract

The Nonequivalent Posttest-Only Control Group Design.

This study aims to determine the influence of problem based learning with student worksheet to the student ability of mathematical reasoning at 227 junior high school Jakarta. This study is quantitative research used quasi experimental with type the Noneqyivalent Posttest-Only Control Group Design. The population of this study included grade VII students of  227 junior high school Jakarta in the second semester of the 2019/2020 academic year. The samples of this research are 62 students from VII-A class and VII-D class. The sampling technique used the cluster random sampling method. The research instrument was a description of 7 questions. The instrument was first tested at 124 junior high school Jakarta for 24 students. The prerequisite test carried out is the normality test, then obtained data that is normally distributed from the experimental class and the control class. Hypothesis testing using the Two-Sample Comparative test results in which results in rejecting at the 5% significance level with an effect Size of 0.66 which is classified as moderate. The results of this study can be concluded that there is an effect of the LKS-based Problem Based Learning model on the students' mathematical reasoning ability in 227 junior high school jakarta which is classified as moderate.
