The Application of Learning Strategies HOTS (Higher Order Thinking Skills) by Using SI GEMBUL Media in Improving the Ability of Creative Thinking on Bumiku Theme in Sixth Grade Students of State Elementary School Dinoyo 1 Malang

Abstract

The aim of this research is to describe the application of learning strategies HOTS by using SI GEMBUL to improve the ability of creative thinking on Bumiku theme. The method of this research that used is the research of class action. The subject of this research is sixth grade students in State Elementary School  Dinoyo 1 Malang on 2016/2017. Data collection is carried out by observation, interview, anecdotal record, documentation and test. The research was conducted in 2 cycle. The result of the research shows that at the end of the action the ability of the students creative thinking include in high category. The result of the study reach thoroughly above 70%.
