ABSTRACT

 

This research was to get the effectiveness level of shelter when transportation of Giant Freshwater Prawn. The method used of Completely Random Design with the treatment  A) of Giant Freshwater Prawn at  2 tail/ shelter package. Treatment  B) of Giant Freshwater Prawn at  3 tail/ shelter package. Treatment  C of fresh water prawn at  3 tail/ shelter package. The results was obtained the transport process Giant Freshwater Prawn not found  of mortality, so the survival rate of 100%, on all treatment, and then the use of Shelter from mineral water bottle package was  effectiveness decrease Giant Freshwater Prawn of mortality. . Overall value white water quality range DO, pH, Temperature, Salinity can still be tolerated for Giant Freshwater Prawn.
