Abstract

Increasing the secondary metabolite content through elicitation techniques has been widely examined and demonstrated an increase of secondary metabolite compound in certain plants. Currently, the pharmaceutical industry and cosmetics industry is quite prospective .making itis more valuable to conduct the increase of secondary metabolite on the callus of sunflower by using particular media and number of eksplant.The aim of this research was improving the level of sunflower oil on Helianthus annuus leaf callus. This study used a Completely Randomized Design with four treatments of a light wavelength of the color: C1 = white light, C2 = red light, C3 = yellow light and C4 = blue light.. The results was: *The light wavelength of white and bblue coloor tend to produce a compact calluss*The wave length of red and yellow light tend to produce  the quality of friable calluss* Red light deliver a greater quantityof caluss than the other lights,*. Sun Flower Oil was found in the highest callus under white light condition (0.18%).
