Waste Sorting Awareness with 4R (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle and Replace) Concept at Gedongarum Village, Kanor – Bojonegoro

Abstract

The purpose of this community service activities is as a solution of the waste problem. By socialization the 4R concept (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle and Replace) of waste sorting, build the waste separation facilities and also waste processing training is expected to solve the waste problem in Gedongarum village, Kanor sub-district, Bojonegoro city. Refer to the evaluation result after the community service activity performed, the public awareness to the importance of waste sorting is raising as much as 58,7%, public knowledge of the waste management increased by 76.05%, running program effectiveness 71,7% and the people strongly supports the continuity of this community service program which indicate by 86,9%.
