Abstract

This article discusses the role of emotional intelligence in adolescents in facing unique psychosocial challenges in the digital era. The development of information technology has influenced the way teenagers interact with their environment, which requires a deeper understanding of emotional intelligence. This article presents a literature review about the concept of emotional intelligence, the impact of the digital era on adolescent emotional intelligence, as well as educational and intervention implications.
