CORRELATION BETWEEN COMPETENCE MASTERY LEVEL IN CRITICAL THINKING AND STUDENT GRADUATION ACCURACY

Abstract

This study aims to determine the correlation between competence mastery level in critical thinking and graduation accuracy of students in Teacher Training and Education Faculty, University of Islam Malang. Critical thinking is a meaningful process to direct oneself in making a decision. This study uses a quantitative method and the data applied here is data of Tracer Study FKIP UNISMA from 2017 to 2020. Student graduation accuracy data is nominal with two categories and the data of competence mastery level in critical thinking is ordinal with five categories. Data analysis uses Cramer correlation technique which is implemented in IBM SPSS 25. The results show that there is a significant relationship between competence mastery level in critical thinking and student graduation accuracy.
