Islam Nusantara is a moderate Islam, loving, anti-radical and intolerant. In conjunction with the local culture, Islam Nusantara use cultural approach in running the symbols of Islam without losing the original culture nurturing, and preserving local culture. Indonesia as a nation of diverse cultures have a unifying order to create unity and harmonious life for the citizens of Indonesia. Pancasila is the ideology of the Indonesian population and the ideal of a backrest and outlook for the Indonesian nation. While radicalism itself is fanatic about one idea to the exclusion of another opinion, the historical neglect of Islam.

In Indonesia and in the world now emerging about radical Islam. For Indonesia as a Muslim-majority country into a hotbed of radicalism many accused itself. As the state ideology of Pancasila which has a "Unity in Diversity". Indonesia having an important role combating radicalism. In this literature study will discuss how Islamic country, the role of Islam archipelago, a form of radicalism in Indonesia and Pancasila as the fortress that radicalism is not widespread in Indonesia. The purpose of this research for the world to know more about how tolerant Islam in Indonesia about the differences but remain united and become an example for the country - other countries in order to create world peace.
