THE ROLE OF ISLAMIC BOARDING SCHOOL AS A CITIZENSHIP SITE IN BUILDING OF FIVE PRINCIPLES MORAL'S VALUE (CASE STUDY AT SANTI ASROMO ISLAMIC BOARDING SCHOOL IN MAJALENGKA)

Abstract

In this era of modernization,  there are a lot of phenomenon of degenerative  moral values ​​in adolescent life , especially in Indonesia. The case of young generations delinquency  is increasingly be worried, so the young generations delinquency is not getting worse and need for guidance from psychological approach. Teenagers are ages filled with very high spirits but sometimes their  spirit leads to a negative, it’s often called young generation delinquency. Wrong association is the biggest caused to encourage teenagers to become young generations delinquency. In addition, family also one of  a caused that affects for teenagers delinquency. In this case, parents are the persons who most responsible with morality and behavior for their children. Character of education through moral education is an agreement about what humans should do in order to guide young people to get virtues and values ​​that will shape them into good people. The formation of the nation's character can be done through the citizenship site that is one of them through the Islamic Boarding School ( Pesantren ) . Character of education through these citizenship sites is divided into two (2) groups, they are namely: 1) Managing character education traditionally, where the management and methods are very simple and the tendency is rigid, such as the activities of the council ta'lim (Majlis Ta’lim), the activities weekly or daily observations in the community, and so on. 2) Conducting character education  professionally, as the best management, curriculum, model or method is designed and implemented. Islamic Boarding School as an educational institution, including a kind of Islamic educational institutions that "indigenous" in  Indonesia. At the beginning, Islamic Boarding School has aims to deepen the sciences of Islam and practice it as a daily guideline, or called tafaqquh fiddin, by emphasizing the importance of morals in social life.
