The Concept of Active National Defend Based On Islam Nusantara Through Curriculum Development
Abstract
The aim of this study is to develop curriculum course of in Al-islam and Pancasila to embed the concept of active national defend. Curriculum development in this case consists of three parts. The first part, this study aims to develop the curriculum’s content of Al-islam and Pancasila that are integrated with each other, in this case the concept of islam nusantara. The second part, this study aims to design a learning strategies based on competence (competency-based learning). The third, this study aims to design a process of assessment and evaluation on learning outcomes. Curriculum is considered important because it is the core of academic activities in universities, especially in lectures. Thus it is deemed necessary to always develop a curriculum that fits the needs of the era, institutions, and country in this case is active national defend. Learning strategy is considered important as a manifestation and a means of achieving the objectives of curriculum. Futhermore, authors consider the three important aspects can be achieved in competency-based eduation that is knowledge, skill, and attitude. Finally, authors consider it important things that there is a monitoring and evaluation system of leaning outcomes to measure the success of the curriculum. This is to further strengthen the nation’s character in students. Students also receive more basic and appealing content for the understanding and application of religion, Pancasila and four national consensus.
