TRUMP’S POLICY ABOUT TERRORISM HANDLING ON ISLAM PERSPECTIVE OF RAHMATAN LIL-ALAMIN

Abstract

A number of terrorism acts in several countries especially those which happened in some places in the United States have invited a reaction from US President Donald J. Trump. Trump's reaction is aimed at Muslim immigrants who are considered to be the most responsible group against terrorism. This reaction is seen by many as an irrational reaction because it places Islam and the Muslim community as the main enemy. Trump here really does not understand the presence of Islam among other religions on earth. Trump does not see the authenticity of an Islamic mission that is sublime to the rahmatan lil alamin, that is, the religion of Islam which does not impose the will, let and does not teach doctrines which allows violence or cruelty on earth. Yet, it is a religion which doctrines universal salvation and happiness.
