Abstract

For a country the factor of education is the most fundamental principle for progress, empirical facts present the historical fact that a country with human resources will shift the state with abundant natural resources, if we talk about human resources then we actually talk about education. Countries in the African continent we know have abundant natural resources, but until the twentieth century has not yet become part of the country with the category of developed countries, if in comparative with the listening of developed countries such as Singapore or Japan then the African country is still far below, whereas Singapore and Japan have almost no natural resources. NU and Muhammadiyah are the two organizations that are well aware of this, therefore these two organizations in every policy taken always consider aspects of human resource development, the focus of these two large organizations is education, it can not be denied that private higher education institutions in Indonesia the qualities of higher education are born from the womb of NU and Muhammadiyah. The more values ​​that NU and Muhammadiyah have are both born from the ulama but very responsive to the advancement of socio-political dynamics and science and technology, religious studies at high institutions of NU and Muhammadiyah in internalization in such a way with the typical method. The internalization of religious education undertaken by NU and Muhammadiyah in Indonesia is well received by the community, it is because the internalization of religious education by both large organizations does not destroy the culture that has been the values ​​that were embraced by the archipelago before Islam present
