PERAN KEPALA SEKOLAH DALAM PEMBENTUKAN AKHLAK SISWA DI ERA MERDEKA BELAJAR

Abstract

In today's modern era, moral education is very important and must be considered in the world of education considering the many deviations that occur at school and outside of school. Therefore, students must be equipped with noble character in order to avoid these deviations. One who is responsible for the formation of morals in schools is the principal. This study aims to determine the moral formation of students at MTs Irsyadul Mubtadi'in and to find out how the role of the principal and the supporting and inhibiting factors in forming morals at MTs Irsyadul Mubtadi'in. This research was carried out in August-September 2021 at Mts Irsyadul Mubtadi'in. The approach used in this research method is qualitative research. Sources of data obtained in this study are interviews, observation and documentation. As a result of the research, the principal is on duty to develop, regulate, and oversee in educational institutions/schools. The principal also acts as a priest in a school.
