PROBLEMATICS OF ISLAMIC EDUCATION LEARNING PRACTICES IN THE PANDEMIC TIME COVID-19 SMP NEGERI 1 KEPANJEN

Abstract

Islamic Religious Education is one of the subjects that must be taught from elementary to tertiary level. Islamic Religious Education is one way to introduce the individual to the creator. Therefore, mastery of the PAI subject is not only in the cognitive domain, but also requires mastery in the realm of psychomotor / skills of students through exercises such as practice, demonstrations, performance, and others. This study aims to describe the problems of Islamic education learning practices from the processes and practices during the Covid-19 pandemic at SMP Negeri 1 Kepanjen. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach. The results showed that the learning practice process of PAI from a distance ran smoothly, even though the participants were low, while the obstacles found during the learning process with online learning were ineffective, the difficulty of educators in conducting practical evaluations directly to students, low student motivation, teacher interaction and students are less communicative.
