PROBLEM BASED LEARNING PADA PEMBELAJARAN PPKN DALAM MEMBENTUK KARAKTER KERJA KERAS

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of problem-based learning (PBL) in Civics subjects (PPKn) in shaping the hard-working character of fourth-grade students at MIN 1 Rembang, Central Java. The research method used was descriptive qualitative. The research instruments were observation, interviews, and documentation. The results in this study indicated that the implementation of the problem-based learning model in Civics learning (PPKn) in shaping the character of hard work includes; (1) teacher planning in implementing teaching and learning activities by preparing learning scenarios and learning tools (RPP, syllabus); (2) group discussions in class on a lesson; (2) students are accustomed to cleaning the school environment.

    Syarifatul Fitri hidayah is a faculty member of Study Program of Education for Islamic Elementary School Teachers Al-Anwar Islamic College, Rembang, Central Java, Indonesia. She focuses on Madrasah Ibtida'iyah Teacher Education Program [PGMI], last month she became a presenter on International class program of educataion and teacher training faculty UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang.

     

    Herman Khunaivi, is a faculty member of the Study Program of Education for Islamic Elementary School Teachers Al-Anwar Islamic College, Rembang, Central Java, Indonesia. He graduated with his bachelor’s degree from Sultan Agung Islamic University and his majority was English Education Program. He got a full scholarship while he was studying at Sultan Agung University, and his double degree program was in Islamic Civilization. Then, he continued his study to the Master Degree Program at Semarang State University, his majority was English Education Program. He had been a presentation the 61th TEFLIN International Conference, the 4th Summit Meeting International Conference on Education, and the 1st ELITE International Conference. Currently, He is a doctoral student of the English Department, Faculty of Letters at Universitas Negeri Malang, East Java, Indonesia.
