AKULTURASI NILAI – NILAI PENDIDIKAN ISLAM PADA TRADISI KELAHIRAN DI DAERAH PONDOK PESANTREN KRAPYAK YOGYAKARTA

Abstract

Islam for the members of the Krapyak community is an identity that is deeply embedded in the Krapyak community and gives color to the development of Islam. Birth is one of the most important phases in living a human life. The birth of a baby in a family environment is often greeted with religious rituals that are closely related to special local customs or cultures. The procession of the birth ritual is in accordance with the human life cycle which begins with birth traditions consist of mendem aruman / starfruit treatment, brokohan (the first day of the child's birth), njenang lemu (the baby arrives at its parents' house), the puputan tradition (when the baby's navel falls off and cuts its first hair), and wetonan (the day the child was born following the Javanese market day). This Islamic boarding school is the guardian of Islamic education which gives Islamic values ​​a color that is more in the community environment which is thick with religious activities such as mujahadah, al-Quran recitation, yellow book recitation, and other religious activities. This birth ritual activity has a strong meaning of Islamic educational values, namely educational valuesfor the community in the Krapyak Islamic boarding school
