TREN PENELITIAN KETERAMPILAN BERPIKIR KRITIS DI PERGURUAN TINGGI: SEBUAH KAJIAN LITERATUR SISTEMATIS

Abstract

Research on critical thinking skills in higher education has its own trends. Through content analysis of several reputable international scientific journals from 2013-2023, this study seeks to gather various information on trends or tendencies in research on critical thinking skills in higher education. In this study, recent articles on critical thinking skills were systematically reviewed using a systematic literature review method. Articles were retrieved from the Scopus and Web of Science (WOS) databases. Based on the research findings, it shows that the trend in critical thinking research design in higher education is more dominant in quantitative research compared to other research designs, the trend in research substance is more focused on lecturer learning practices, PBL is most widely used to facilitate the development of critical thinking skills. The research findings also identified variables related to critical thinking skills most in the attitude category.
