KECERDASAN INTERPERSONAL UNTUK MEMBENTUK KARAKTER GEN Z METODE: STUDI LITERATUR
Abstract
Generation Z faces challenges such as declining social awareness, empathy, and communication skills due to changes in social interaction patterns in the digital era. Interpersonal intelligence, defined as the ability to understand, communicate, and build relationships with others, is essential in addressing these challenges. This study employs a literature review method by analyzing academic articles, reputable international journals, conference proceedings, and books published between 2015–2025. The research process involved source identification, selection based on inclusion–exclusion criteria, thematic analysis, and narrative synthesis. The findings indicate that interpersonal intelligence contributes to strengthening character values such as empathy, social responsibility, cooperation, and integrity. However, research on the long-term relationship between interpersonal intelligence and Generation Z's character development remains limited due to conceptual differences, measurement constraints, and the lack of longitudinal studies
