This conceptual study analyzes the strategic utilization and potential of the Canva application as a digital medium within the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) framework to foster creativity among Elementary School (SD)/Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) students in Islamic Cultural History (SKI), particularly the Wali Songo material. The study is motivated by the need to shift conventional SKI learning into a visual, contextual experience that effectively stimulates student creativity.Employing a literature review method and conceptual analysis, the study finds that integrating Canva significantly supports CTL principles. Canva facilitates student visual creativity and digital literacy by enabling them to produce authentic artifacts (such as infographics and e-posters) about the Wali Songo's da'wah (preaching) activities. This process encourages students to construct their historical knowledge into unique visual representations, directly supporting the Constructivism and Authentic Assessment components of CTL. This article concludes that Canva is an effective digital tool for CTL implementation, offering a strategic solution to enhance student creativity and active engagement in understanding Islamic history.
