PENERAPAN STRATEGI PEMBELAJARAN KONTEKSTUAL (CTL) DENGAN MEMANFAATKAN TEHNOLOGI PADA PEMBELAJARAN FIKIH MI KELAS II MATERI ADZAN DAN IQOMAH

Abstract

The implementation of Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) in Fiqh instruction at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) has been shown to positively influence both the learning process and student outcomes. This article examines the effectiveness of CTL in teaching the topics of adzan and iqomah to secondgrade MI students, based on theoretical perspectives and recent research findings. CTL enhances students’ understanding by connecting the material to real-life experiences and providing opportunities to observe, imitate, and directly practice the recitation of adzan and iqomah. In addition to improving cognitive achievement, this approach strengthens students’ psychomotor skills and religious attitudes. However, several challenges remain, including teacher readiness, limited learning facilities, varying student characteristics, and constrained instructional time. Improvements can be made by enhancing teacher competence, optimizing available learning environments, applying ageappropriate classroom management, and implementing a gradual instructional model. Overall, the findings indicate that CTL is highly relevant and applicable for teaching basic worship practices particularly adzan and iqomah and is therefore recommended as an instructional strategy in MI.
