Multikulturalisme, Narasi Islamisme, dan Tantangan Pendidikan di Era Global
Abstract
The condition of a plural society amidst global conditions has both positive and negative impacts. The positive impact is to provide opportunities for all people to get the same opportunities and rights such as getting education, a place to live, and a decent life with competitions that are carried out daily without realizing it. However, multiculturalism has a negative impact on those who have lost opportunities in their lives and eventually build negative narratives through sects or groups built on behalf of the identity of the majority of the occupation with a religious label. This condition makes the state alert to the narrative of Isalmism based on group interests and has an impact on the extremist movement. Global conditions make everyone have the opportunity to carry out education through anything and are not limited by space and time. Through this research, the concept of multiculturalism that is in harmony with the conditions of Indonesian society will be explained by observing the narrative of Islam in the midst of global conditions. The research method uses a descriptive qualitative approach and type of case study research.
