Abstract

The culture of Palestine is diverse and deeply rooted in its history, religion, and the struggles of its people.  Islamic traditions influence Palestinian culture.  Palestinians are known for their hospitality and resilience despite their difficult circumstances.  Traditional Palestinian dances such as Dabke are performed during festive occasions, showing the unity and solidarity of the people.  Palestinian cuisine, consisting of maqluba and hummus, reflects the region’s distinct flavors and regional variations.  Art and literature also play a crucial role in preserving and expressing Palestinian culture, with traditional embroidery and calligraphy being highly valued artistic expressions.  Palestinian poets and authors share their experiences, struggles, and aspirations through their writing.  Palestinian culture is a testimony to the steadfastness of the Palestinian people and their shared identity.
